Rail operations present unique challenges and hazards that differ significantly from those in other areas of our business. Ensuring that our employees are equipped with the knowledge and skills to navigate this environment is essential for maintaining safe working at our sites where rail operations are present. This is why we are regularly training our employees with a Rail Safety Awareness course which provides a comprehensive introduction to the unique world of Rail operations and rail safety at Cemex. Cemex is committed to ensuring our rail operations are safe for everyone; our colleagues, customers and contractors, our rail freight partners and the public. Safety is our number one priority and last year we were proud to launch our rail safety campaign 'Stay Aware, Stay Rail Safe'. We're using this campaign to promote rail safety education in schools around our Cemex UK sites. Our campaign not only highlights the importance of rail safety but, through a well-structured approach, takes learners through a process of understanding the risks related to railways, the appropriate behaviours needed to be safe around railways and also engages the children in identifying railway line hazards.#RailSafetyWeek #RSW24 #Zero4Life

London Climate Action Week 2024 begins this weekend, which brings together diverse groups from politics, industry, NGOs and civil society in finding global solutions to climate change.
