Guide - Iron Man Guide for Beginners! (2024)

Iron man is a new gamemode just released and I myself have played it, and I will share what I think is a good strategy for it.

Now that you've created your profile, you spawn in your island! First thing you want to do is bridge to the hub then talk to Jamie to recieve a Rogue Sword. This will be a good starting weapon to get you through your first day.

What you want to do first is head over to the graveyard and get some coins from rotten flesh/coins dropped. Then what you want to do is get a pickaxe and mine your way straight to the Deep Caverns. Once you're there, try to unlock some collections.

To get money, I suggest heading straight to the place between emeralds and redstones and just mine redstone as that is very beneficial later. What you want to get is the recipes till of enchanted redstone and haste potions. Once you got the enchanted redstone, you can mine normal redstone then sell to the NPC later on.

Now that you have money, I suggest buying an undead sword and a spider sword. Once getting them, you should also buy diamond armor. Head straight to the lapis zombies and start slapping them till you get a full set, then go straight to obsidian sanctuary and try to get the full set. If you can't do that, then go for the weaker version of miner armor.

If you got combat 5, which I assume you did with the obsidian sanctuary mobs, you should head straight to the nether and try to get the recipe of enchanted glowstone. Now, you should head straight to the alchemist in the hub and buy a brewing stand, cause you can now get haste 3 potions for 16 minutes. Get a golden axe and enchant it with eff 5 (you have the recipe from trying to get e-redstone) and telekinesis (100 coins at janitor).

Now that you have the axe, you should head straight to the acacia forest and cut trees till you get the savanna bow recipe. Now I know this will require 3 e-string, but you're not going to craft the bow quite yet. By now, you probably have foraging 10. I also suggest trying to grind for spider hat, as the Crit Chance bonus is good

Now this is the beginning of having an Iron Man Profile. If you want a continuation of the guide, please tell me in the replies as I will try my best to make this into a good guide. I am indeed planning on making this guide updated if it blows up.

This next part only comes if you have friends that are willing to carry you in dungeons

Now tell your friend to carry you through entrance, f1, and f2. Once you're at fl2, try to find as many secrets as possible as healing potions sell for 22K at NPC. Now just 7 of them are enough, as the next weapon costs 120K ish. Now, while you're at it, tell your friend to fill up their inventory with random things so if any armor/sword/bow drops, you can pick it up. Rotten set is pretty amazing as it gives alot of strength, but anything else for now doesn't matter

Now if you don't have friends to help you, this is what you should do

I suggest brewing haste potions and get every wood collection to 50K, as it will help with money, you'll get your strength up, and it'll help for the weapon im going to talk about.

Now, if you've followed the steps, I doubt you won't have 130K+. What you want to do is go straight to the Viking and let someone else in your lobby do it. Once his shops opens, buy yourself a Raider's Axe. You do need 50K collection on wood collections combined for it's maximum damage (correct me if i'm wrong), so that's why I advised for it. Try to get e-string for the savanna bow as that will be really helpful and the bow will be your main bow for a while.

Now that you have a mid-game sword that gives coins per kill, there are many different paths that you should get before moving on to the next point.

There are many things you can do at this point, and I'll be talking about each one of them.

Try to get as much collection recipes as possible, even if it is useless (slime) as that'll help later once you get so much better . Collections I suggest maxing out are: Redstone (accessory bag) Lapis (exp bottles) Chicken (Eggs for pets) Ender Pearl (Aote) Cobblestone (SC3K) Spider (Grappling Hook) etc....

Getting a higher combat level is necessary as you need to have access to the end. Obviously, the end is a really important part of the game. Getting there faster is better. Try to get a set of ender armor from 4.5k health emen.

This is self explanatory, fishing is helpful and a basic part of the game. Leveling it up is necessary as the health bonus adds up and becomes OP later

Now that you have access to the end, you should grab yourself a lot of pearls and waypoints and head straight to the hub and start getting souls. This will be easier if you have a grappling hook and souls are known to be the main aspect of Skyblock

I suggest you start grinding for enchant recipes, as this will be SUPER helpful later on, but this process will take a while, so good luck!

Start getting recipes for most talismans and reforge then accordingly. Again, self explanatory

If you were killing endermen, you definitely got a pet or two. If you're as unlucky is @mvdhor though, you probably need to grind a bit more for a pet

Now that you have ender armor, fairy souls, a pet, and a bunch of talismans, I suggest you go grind for an AOTE from the best endermen you can kill. Bonus points if you already have recipes for a god book.

Try to make a pumpkin farm and a sugar cane farm. Pumpkin farm for farmer's boots and sugar cane farm because
1) It's good
2) Alchemy Levels
3) Collection Reasons
4) Paper

If you can't one shot zealots yet, then go ahead and try to get more talismans, reforge your sword/gear, get more kills on your raider's axe if you still use it, etc...
Once you can one shot zealots, you can move forward to the next point.

Grind Zealots and get eyes. Bonus points if you have a coop since you and your coop mates can spawn a dragon. Now, your savanna bow must be enchanted, reforged, and you must have a full quiver (obvious reasons). Dont worry about not getting first place, as you already have weight from eyes. Prefer 4/4 eyes if you and you're coop are not that good. 3/3/2 if you have 2 other coop mates, and 2/2/2/2 if you have 3 other coop mates. This process will get repetitive, which is why you also need to grind other skills to not get bored. Your main goal is to get
1) AOTD
2) A full dragon set
3) hopefully a dragon pet

Another good way to get dragon armor is dungeon LA's, but that's kinda hard, but i suggest keeping all fragments and saving them up as they will add up eventually

Will update daily. I do look at replies so give me feedback
